While New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia entertained near 70F degree weather, Iowa had a close call with a blizzard. These are a few pictures from last week’s snow storm:

Hard to believe but the little blue area behind the tree in the foreground is all one could see of our front door, here at Medline Dubuque. Everything else was coated in a thick layer of heavy snow.

This is a view of part of our parking lot, from the front door.

After the plows were able to come through we could see blacktop again through the ice, unfortunately the snow piled up high behind cars. Some of us needed a little help….Great job shoveling Holly!

It was a long drive home that day. This was one of the fairly well-plowed roads. Pretty though isn’t it?
